our background
We are a small business established in 1996 based in Pickering located on the North York Moors, UK. Andrew served with the Merchant Navy as deck/radio officer (Cunard) and British MOD (Navy) as an underwater weapons / communications specialist and has a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering specialising in radio communications. He is a fully licensed Radio Amateur, Class A International (Call Sign G0KGA) and a member of the RSGB. He is also registered with the Chartered Electronic Engineering Institute IET (formally the IEEIE, IEng). Jayne is the other half of the team, she’s a keen sailor, is great at footing a ladder and is responsible for safe working practices and the general daily running of the office
We carry out both domestic and commercial work. Previous contract work has involved multiple commercial projects, for UK local authority, UK Government, MOD (Navy), Government Communications and US Space Defence We have undertaken contract work for Military, schools and colleges , UK police, maritime ports, domestic households and marine vessels. Andrew is also available for consulting and has SC Security Clearance.
What We Do
Communications and Electronics is a constantly changing environment and we pride ourselves in keeping abreast of developments and new technology to enable our customers to have the very best technology available to them.
We are proud to be a channel partner and reseller for AST (Applied Satellite Technology) who are based in the UK and US and supply communications products globally to military, commercial and maritime sectors.
We always meet with our customers to discuss their requirements in person, so we can plan the best solutions for them. Many of our customers return to us for project updates and also recommend our services.
We are a full systems member of the CAI (Association For Audio Visual Professionals), the RDI Digital Tick Scheme as licensed professional digital installers, and are registered with the Government endorsed Trust Mark Scheme. We are vetted, CRB Cleared and insured.
